Ugh me too. I got 89 out of 100 on the allergy scratch test. I've taken enough Benadryl in my lifetime that it doesn't even make me drowsy anymore. Lately though if I take my Allegra daily and use my Nasonex it really helps a lot. I can still feel it a bit but I'm not down for the count when my allergies hit. As a kid I was always itching my nose from the allergies, come to find out I've done it so much that I've completely broken all the cartilage in my nose. I can literally squish it flat. I was always so attractive with the constant runny nose and eyes swelled shut. Plus I’d breathe through my mouth causing chapped lips. They’d get so bad the entire area between my nose and mouth would be completely chapped and scabbed. Add braces and I was just the picture of attractiveness. |
I hate that opening a can of worms sensation.

KatieSue I bet you were hawt ;)
Had a raging headache and no voice yesterday. Called in sick again because of this sinus headache. I think my zyrtec has quit working and I've tried everything else. /sigh |
this is definitely reminding me to pack enough claritin to kill a horse for the camping trip. *sniff*
|
Anyone know what happens when you mix Zyrtec and Claritan?
|
Probably won't kill you. When mine get bad Benadryl is the only thing that works. Zyrtec, Claratin, Allegra and the like, from my understanding are more preventative. Once it gets bad it's Benadryl for me.
And yea I was totally hot, or um not. |
Benadryl puts me straight to sleep :(
|
Take it with something that has a lot of sugar and caffiene. Like Dr. Pepper or Mt. Dew. Makes you a little funky but not so drowsey. But then again like I said I've been taking it by the gallon since I was about 10 so it doesn't effect me as much.
