We have finally begun packing the car. Our goal is to only have the cooler to load in the morning, make a stop for ice and wood and hit the open road! :D

I made my first decision, and two days early. I will start my drive to King's Canyon on Friday (leaving from work). But I'll start out heading north (because that gives me a way out of the Bay Area on a road I haven't used before).

I'm assuming that will start to shift towards south at some point.


I did confirm that I know where the sleeping bags are (since we haven't used them since the move).
