Fun fact. There's a little arrow next to the gas pump icon on your gas gage that indicates which side of the car the filler cap is on. I NEVER KNEW THAT!

Really?! I'll have to look tomorrow.

Another cool thing that I sort of knew about but never had a reason (until now) to use it. With Google Maps Traffic, you can look up what the NORMAL traffic flow is like at a certain time of day on a certain day. For example, I was able to look (for a cow-orker) at what the traffic is normally like on the 71 North in the morning (clear BTW).

Sweet!

I use it quite often. I'd say it's about 70% accurate.

I figured it wasn't gospel - traffic changes on a daily basis (I know my commute is all over the place). But at least it gives a fairly safe indication of what one might expect.

So do we. We just came home from dinner to find a fresh invasion. Bill has been fighting them all day. Fortunately, they haven't found the Christmas cookies.

Use 409 or some cleaning agent to wipe where they have been. It gets rid of their trail.

Use a flamethrower - its much more effective

I know. Cinnamon scented air freshener works too.

Our landlord might have an issue with that one.

I use 409 to kill them. A direct hit will end their says in just a couple seconds.

What (s)he doesn't know...

_____

And on the 409 solution: while it may wipe out their trail, my experience is that they don't have a problem re-establishing it. We used to live in Rancho Cucamonga on what used to be grape vineyards. We had a SERIOUS ant problem.
