 | Nope.

But this model was worth the ~$75 or so we plunked down sometime between Christmas and Thanksgiving. (If I recall correctly, the stars aligned and we it was priced at around $90 and we had a 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupon).

 | Jason can't do coffee (he likes it, but his stomach doesn't), and at the time I was tired of doing tiny presses in my press pot, considering that on the weekends I like about one cup of coffee. He does enjoy some of the other pods they offer, such as the apple cider and hot teas.

That said, I'm not sure I would have paid a cent more than what I did, and there are times (yesterday was a perfect example) where I realize that I should have just gotten a bigger press pot and an instant hot water pot thingie (I don't like to wait for my hot water). In the meanwhile, it's a nicety that gets used often enough. |
