They still make that? That was one of my favorite watches EVER.

It has been years since I've worn a watch. Sometimes I miss it for aesthetic reasons, but timekeeping never seems to be an issue.

So, I had a near brush with disaster today. Seems I get to fill out the 450 ethics form this year, and among the items you're required to disclose are any future job offers you've accepted.

O.O

Then I read the fine print and discovered it was only *non-federal* offers, that one has to disclose.

This form is reviewed by my supervisor and my supervisor's supervisor, and I didn't want this to be how I gave notice. Surprise!

So.... I'm on a plane. Flying across the country. Six hours. It has WiFi. I'm bored. Hi. I can get Hulu, sorta. The trail mix was nasty. I brought a sandwich. It's dark. I think it's cloudy. My GPS does not work in here. I have a row all to myself. I think I'll run an IP scan of the local LAN and see if there is anything interesting around me. I had a coke. Just a small one. I'm saving the sandwich for later. Rhapsody to-go now has a cache option. I'm listening to Sugarland. Before that was Meatloaf. Before that was Shock treatment - Little black dress. Ohh bump! Why can't I sleep on planes? Up next: "I see you driving down town with the girl I love and I'm like....
A light! I guess it's not cloudy after all. Although I guess it could be partly cloudy. I think I'll go find a flight tracker and see where in the hell I am.

Edited to add: I'm over North Dakota. That explains the lack of lights.

LOL! It's like a little peek into Moonie's stream of conscious when he flies.

Montana! Uncle kracker - Smile. Facebooking with Headliner, typing. The sandwich met it's demise, or higher purpose depending on your own philosophical bent. Working on work (just a little). Gaga - Bad romance. Err, I have no idea how that got into the rotation.....

Not Afraid 01-05-2011 07:31 PM

Where are you going?

Elton John - If it wasn't for bad. Seattle, then south towards Olympia, visit my dad. Sunday on to Texas. Visit mom-in-law. In short a maintenance trip.
