You know, I'm still not a feeling healthy. All I want to do is sleep. Sleep, glorious sleep. I keep looking at the clock and wondering if 8:00 is too early to go to bed. THe sad thing is that I'm bored with being sick and tired. Nothing's worse than boredom for me. Oh well, tomorrow's another day and I havd a to-do list prepared. Maybe that willl help.

Lay in bed and read a book! It's rest, so it's like sleep, but it's not as boring (esp. if you're having trouble sleeping, like I did last week) since you're reading. Fluff book time . . .

"Perfidous" I would have gotten after some thought...maybe. I should have stopped myself from reading your definition first. "Parvenous" and the latin stuff were way over my head.

I wouldn't be ashamed of the "simpler" words in your list. One can't remember all words, especially under-used ones.

I love using scraps of paper as bookmarks so I can write down words that catch my fancy. I have this great envelope I used as a bookmark for On the Road - definitely a keeper.

Read T.C. Boyle. That will be sure to increase your vacabulary.

I was helping one of my students in the library today when one of the reference librarians behind me said, "You're a reference librarian!" (I guess that's a compliment.)

So, in my next life, perhaps I will be a librarian. Or perhaps I already was one in a past life. Or perhaps I chose the wrong profession.

I do like to wear my hair in a bun sometimes. Hmmmm.

I couldn't have scratched that one out of my brain with a pick axe.

I'm procrastinating. I've got a pile of projects, but none of them have any sort of urgency or deadline, so I'm ignoring them. Tomorrow will be different, I think. But today, I don't feel like doing anything, so I'm not.

Ah....yup. Uh-huh. Mmmhmm.

Slacking today, just a bit. Did I have an errand to run at lunch? Hmm. Maybe I'll buy blank T-shirts for MA. I think it's a Quiznos day today.

I feel really good because I did laundry and am wearing a rather snazzy look today...complete with matching hat and fashionable scarf. Monday was jeans/t-shirt/sneakers day. I love how clothes can be a way to shift your personality. Forget Matterhorn Fan, I'm the double agent. ;)
