I did yard work today. My roses are no longer totally out of control. My one florabunda by the front door, is now seperate from the hedges next to it and both are back in the confines of their beds, and not hindering front door access.

My lawn mower is being fixed, so hopefully by next weekend I will no longer have to rely on the neighbors to mow our front yard, and Nick can start doing it.

Other than that I am watching the girls eat grapes. They have also been stashing the grapes all over the cage. Boy are they gonna be ticked when they get cleaned tomorrow.

Color me officially unimpressed by Borat. While there are one or two moments of amusement, in general it's a real drag.

Then again, I wasn't a big fan of Little Miss Sunshine either, which everyone loved.

I don't think I'll ever sit and watch Borat. It looks really stupid to me....But I could be wrong, too.

I did lots of yard work today too. I'm a bit sunburned! Wow, it was warm!

It's pretty stupid.

Pre-presentation freak out session.

ACKjac fhkasj!!!

Everything will be just fine.

blueerica 05-07-2007 09:12 AM

OK, on second thought...

I've noticed that I tend to give off-the-cuff statements better than I do "planned presentations" for school. I also don't seem to have problem discussing things in anything outside of the school setting. I don't know what it is about it that seems to throw me off, but I stop acting natural and get tense - worked up for what is really not a big deal at all. I recognize this, and yet I can't stop getting that panicked feeling.

Does anyone else go through this?

MouseWife 05-07-2007 09:19 AM

Maybe because you know you are 'presenting'? You automatically go in to that mode?

Me? My problem is brain farts. Whew, where the heck was I going with that idea?

Oh, never mind, I found something else.

Worse is when another thought doesn't pop right in.

Perhaps you are the only one who feels you are unnatural but others find you witty and intelligent? :D
