I just finished last semester's attendance report (we have five week semesters here), and the current semester doesn't end until next Friday. I should be catching up, but instead I will work on my wiki.

(If there are any other geek slackers reading this who have any experience with wikis, please PM me - I definitely need help)

Today I am envy. And procrastination. Why does my brother have a plethora of first-authored, data-based publications in peer-reviewed journals? Because he does not procrastinate. But I do, so I envy. I could get off my butt and write, but that would be effort and I am also sloth. Way back in undergrad years my boss had a poster of this ad campaign where Harper's hired famous ad agencies to do 1 page print ads for each of the seven deadlies. It was so cool. I wish I had that poster.

I'm contemplating taking a day off tomorrow. Sleeping in, watching DVDs, reading magazines, drinking coffee...sounds good. The only thing is that we currently don't have a PC at home, so there would be no board surfing. Grrrrrrrrr. Decisions, decisions....

I did something!

I put in a request for about $10k worth of equipment. Equipment that, if I get it, I will look forward to receiving, unpacking, installing, and setting up...and then do whatever I can to not use it because I'm lazy and would rather sit here and post.

hehe . . . I change my status line for a while for the first time in like 3 years, and as soon as I change it back I'm no longer the double agent. Hmmph.

Maybe I'm not a double agent anymore.

Or maybe I am. Apparently I could go undercover as a reference librarian. :rolleyes:
