This is not good. The road Mrs. Moonie is on has been closed. It's looking like she will have to spend the night in her car.

How scary!

Moonie, that's awful. Is there some place she can get off it and find an alternate route home???? When they closed the road, do they just make everybody sit there? That can't be right. They have to let her out, someplace.

From reading about other incidents people do indeed get stuck sleeping in their cars.

We keep earthquake kits in our cars. Do people with massive snow keep blizzard kits (with blankets and warm clothing?)

Spend the night in the car? In a blizzard? Not on my bucket list! I hope she can get home - or get somewhere warm.

Yikes. I hope Mrs. Moonie gets home safely. My grandma always made us keep a blanket and water in our car for just such emergencies.

I suppose it's too late to put a plug in for the car emergency kit we bought at Costco several years back. $15, it included a ton of stuff, most relevantly an emergency blanket.

Thinking warm thoughts for Ms. Moonie :(

Yikes! Sending her lots of warm thoughts for the night! :(
