The prospect of winds at my back matching my normal cruising speed for my morning ride = yay! The prospect of winds in my face matching my normal cruising speed for my evening ride home = less than yay! The prospect of gusts strong enough to knock me off = hell no, I'm driving.

It was dead calm in Brea this morning: not even a slight breeze.

The drive in to work was a different story.

I stepped out this morning, to find a patio chair blocking the front door. There were all kinds of wheeled trashcans doing zombie walks around the neighborhood. A lady at the bus stop nearly got blown into the street.

You aren't looking for a new nanny by any chance are you?
