On a side note, I think I know where we should go next time. My sister in law posted about it in her blog. (Complete with photos!) Look at that freaking waterfall!

As of now NirvanaMan and I are carpooling Friday night arrival, sunday night departure.

Maybe if Kevy and Ken ride back with us on Sunday night, that would cut the extra car???

Um, keeping the fifth space would be my recommendation. The bear box and parking spaces are primo attributes that are worth paying for, even if no one sleeps on those sites.



My passenger dropped out so .... as far as I can tell, I'd be driving up alone in a large vehicle.


Oh yeah, and my meal teammates all dropped out, too. So, er, feel free to throw me on some other team (of people who can, ya know, cook - - lest folks go hungry when it's our turn to feed them).



Sorry for the hemming and the hawwing. I was just adventured out for a bit and seguewaying directly into camping prep got me a little freaked out. My apologies.

Good points - overflow food and parking, and it might make a good open gathering spot for evening campfires! However, I think it's safe to say that we can drop Monday and Thursday evenings still, because it came down to only 2 or 3 folks being available those nights anyway.

also, if theres anyone who feels like its too late, please consider/re-consider going anyway. I have the feeling this will be low key and seriously relaxing.

I'd go just for the natural 'pine fresh scent' and lack of...well, pretty much everything else in the world.

I can see the logic to keeping the extra site (yeah, bear box!)

If we keep the "open" space in the middle, we can set it up as a sort of communal living and gathering space. I might even offer up the 10'x10' sun shelter to the cause.

OK, it makes total sense to keep the 5th site, but I'm going to cancel Thursday and Tuesday for all sites - unless I hear any objections before I find time to make the call.

As for meal teams................?????
