All threads are evolving into a universal (not necessarily Universal) cosmic thread.

So, I gave the hospital orders not to use a feeding tube on my mother. It's odd that I have an option to starve my mother to death, but I can't just give her morphine.

Also, instead of spending time with my mother today I've been chasing down Medi-cal so I can get her approved for Hospice care. Perhaps she'll live long enough to use it.

Your strength is the best gift your mother could ever hope for.

Yeah, you have to get her out of the hospital and into hospice for All The Morphine You Can Eat, basically.

It was a godsend for my mom, and the hospice people were terrific. She was under there care for about 2 months, I think. But it was a much better way to reach the end than being under medical care.

All my best, Chris.
