I spent the afternoon visiting a friend in the hospital then sitting in traffic on the 405. Maybe, some time soo, the doctor will pay a visit to my friend.

actually....yes. I have. Im in the (rather slow) process of redoing my floors from carpet to hardwood (pergo actually) and when Im done, that wee lil bot-buddy will be headed to my house.

one of my coworkers has one and seems to like it. I figure even if he doesnt do a perfect job sweeping, he'll happily try again the next day like clockwork.

thats all I can really ask of my slaves....erm.....bot assistants

If you're doing pergo, you might want to check out the Scooba.

Well, it's down to an hour and a half.

This morning the 2, 3 and 4 year olds decided to dump absolutely every toy out of the bins and other homes and make a bonfire on the playroom floor. This is a fun activity, great glee comes from their little mouths, but they did this half an hour before it was time to make the noon school run. Not fun to clean up, took the full half hour.

Then one of them threw up at the lunch table. Called his mom and she didn't call me back for 2 hours. When she does, I find out she went to pick up her older son from school for the same reason. So what I thought might be just a freak thing is probably going to make the rest of us sick too. I've been bleaching ever since.

We did, however, manage to throw together a last minute Mother's Day project for the kids' moms. I had to adapt an earlier plan because I forgot to pick one part up last night, but I think they came out fine anyway.

I could use a nice relaxing evening complete with a

An hour and 20 minutes to go...

Which of my many pending projects should I be working on? Lace wrap? Second sock of the pair I owe my cat sitter? First sock of the pair I owe my school buddy? Reading the moot court problem I'm supposed to discuss tomorrow at 11? Finishing the powder room paint job? Cleaning the pantry?

Or just sit here and surf?
