Well, there is a reason I do usually wear socks with loads of pattern, so I can make sure they at least match. Does nto help, I'm still an idiot! :D

I forgot to put on a belt this morning. I know nobody cares and my pants aren't going to fall off, but I feel stupid.

I'm considering making a Payless run at lunch.

I can't stop giggling at the thought of you running to Payless on your lunch, wearing what you have on your feet now, desperately hoping they have something more decent in stock. The chances are not that great. You might be better off just enjoying your lunch and trying to not notice what you're wearing on your feet. You know, like you didn't notice it when you got in the car this morning? Try to get back to that place of disconnection from your feet.

If he worked here, he would have been sent home to change.

I'm rather amused by that. How many dreams have I had where I realize I'm not wearing a shirt? Too many. lol. I've done the black and blue sock trick myself. But the sandals thing. Just claim it's the new fashion - you trend setter you!

If anyone high enough up sees me, that might still happen. Fortunately it's pretty easy to avoid people. But I've got a meeting after lunch, and any cheap pair of actual shoes from Payless would be more acceptable than the ridiculous sandals I'm currently wearing.
