I, unfortunately (actually, fortunately), will be hosting my own birthday party that day, and then attending a meeting that night.

Turn 20 years sober and people want a party.

I'll miss you guys. Happy LOTday!

Ken and I can't make it - we've been longing for an all-day "date" with just each other, so we've made plans to go to Sea World that day. (Yeah, I know Shamu isn't as swanky, but we've needed this for a long time - to just do something different.) And, that evening, we're spending some time out on the ill-fated tiki patio in its current state.

So, have a great day, filled with much swank! :)

Ill-fated Tiki Patio??????

I take it the storms were not kind?

If so, that is toooooo bad! It was such a cool place!

Well, you make it so easy riding a Segway wearing day-glo yellow vests.

That destructive "storm" came in the form of a new regional property manager that decided it's an "eyesore" after almost a year of being up, plus prior approval by the office manager . (Check my LiveJournal. ;) ) So, we're going to move it inside to the dining room, which needs a little "lift" anyway. It should look pretty cool when we're done.

So it looks like we will have two meets:

10:00 a.m. at the Riverbelle for pancakes (for which I will take one meal off from my low-carb experience).

2:00 p.m. at the freshly carpeted AP Lounge (or is it outside - I can't remember).

Susan and I will be at both. Susan's birthday is Monday and we always (since pre AP days oh so many years ago) have a DL day for her day.
