I went to the strawberry fields for the first taste of summer yesterday. Then I came home and covered a bunch in milk chocolate. That was the best midnight snack I've had in a long time!

We got 8 lbs of strawberries from the Boston/Haymarket Farmer's Market this weekend for $4.00. We love strawberries.

I've been having Boysenberries on my Kashi in the morning. YUM!

8 lbs for $4, that's a screaming deal!! They cost me that if I go slave away in the field for an hour or so and pick them myself. I had to pay $15 yesterday for a flat and I live 2 miles from the field.

I love Oregon strawberries they are the sweetest I have ever tasted. Soon I'll be making jam, pies and many other wonderful creations. I love summer!

This weekend is the strawberry festival in my little town. The biggest strawbery shortcake in the US gets hauled down main street, it's supposed to be over 6,ooo pounds this year! Then they give it all away for free. They save 1,000 servings and deliver them to nursing homes, the hospital, the police and firemen. It's been going on for 97 years now. It's a big to do for our little town!

There are a lot of girls named Daisy who don't like you saying that!

I'm just now finishing a cup of tea (I need to go to Teavana soon), and I ought to fix something for dinner. I napped through the time when I normally would have made dinner.

I had one bite of a apple turnover but my husband stole it! Now I want something hmm... I have leftover barbecued brauts maybe I'll go have one. I hate being stressed and snacking every night!

Yeah... the cheddar ones have been at the top of my fav list of late.

And what's up with the parmesean? They've been looking more like cheddar.
