I've wanted to go to a Price is Right taping since I was a kid. Sigh.

There is also Mary Poppins Sing Along at El Cap in January and Peter Pan in March I think.

It occurs to me that the "formal" swanking season is the winter and spring. Summertime usually sees its own, more common social events ... and the ensuing "holiday season" stretching from October to, well ... now, often finds the social calendar full as well.

I noticed last year that the attempt at organized, monthly swankings lasted only till May. Cemetery screenings, 4th of July, Disneyland Birthday and general summer fun tended to "interfere" with events more planned-out. And ditto for everything from Labor Day to New Years, though there's hardly been a lack of fun during any season of the year.

The dead of winter seems to need the most "help," and there are certainly enough suggetions so far (and keep 'em coming) to provide a good half-dozen events for the Swanking Season. Let's try to best last year's season, and offer a monthy event thru June 2007!

Hopefully, we'll come up with some finalists early in January ... because we should have our first swanking of the year within the next 31 days!!
