Same way I know what many things most people wouldn't eat tastes like. As I've grown older I've gotten better about it but I've always found it difficult to refuse eating dares (and once upon a time impossible).
I watch Fear Factor and think "no problem." |
Ive tasted most of the things my dogs eat. however Ive elected not to share their interest in stray cat poop
|
But if the cat isn't a stray then you're ok with it?

Kitty pâté!
:D |
hmm......maybe on a ritz.
besides, they only like the ones they find in the yard |
Niman Ranch or Hobbs Applewood Smoked is really good.
In VA Calhouns Ham House made really wonderful smoked bacon, thick and tasty. I can't say I cared for VA country ham at all, it was pure salt and nothing delicate like prosciutto. Although VA natives loved it, to me it was just disgusting. But they could and did do great bacon. Hmmmm, wanting a BLAT now, thick wheat bread smeared with mayo, thick slices of bacon, tomato and avocado and green leaf lettuce.....:p |
stick a thick sliced slab of onion on there and we're rockin.
yes...that would be a BLOAT :p |
I've seen a dog go to the kitty poop deli section, a.k.a. the litter box, for their dining pleasure.
But back to bacon. I'm actually a fan of Canadian bacon, as well. Nice, lean stuff! |
