Duh. Just thought - our old apartment here in Garden Grove is paid up through the 31st. It's void of furniture, but we do have an inflatable bed we can put in it, should anyone need temporary private shelter. Some of our stuff is still there, but there's plenty of open space.

Update on the Bake at Trabuco thing - People can come down Bake from above Trabuco, they just can't go UP from there.

I haven't decided to leave work yet. Alex has already left the lab because it's way too close to the fire line (actually safer at home). So I'm going to stick around at work unless they give out more evac orders.

I believe so. I'm going to stay on "standby" at the moment, since Kevy and BTD are already 15-20 minutes closer than me. And, I got a call from another friend who might need evac help too, so I'm ready to jump at a moment's notice.

I'm feeling pretty guilty. We have clear, breezy and 80 here while most of our family and friends are dealing with the fire crap ALL over California. :(
