yup yup- only Davis was rooting for the Patriots. The rest of us were quite gleeful when the Giants won- GREAT game.

Fav commercial was the one right after Kickoff. The cat wailing as the guy sneezed made me snorck my Dr Pepper. The FedEx pigeons was good too.

having zero interest in football, I feel I must ask, how were the commercials?

It's the pats in a walkover.

I liked the pigeons. You can see most of them online at www.break.com

All I kept thinking was that some lucky pool winner took home the winnings from two quarters

blueerica 02-03-2008 08:40 PM

Oh, and I loved the eTrade commercials

Yeah, the one second on the clock thing was just annoying. Should have been 2 but even that wouldn't have been enough to do anything.

Great game. Would have been a better game if it had stayed 7-3, but great game nonetheless. I would have liked it if the refs had simply shot and carted off the Giants players who dragged out their injuries, thus stopping the clock on the Patriots' last drive. On the other hand, that would have deprived us of that third down play where Manning avoided the sack and threw that amazing long completion. One for the ages.
