Add "make (nearly) any shoes into dance shoes" to your list. Duct tape on the soles of my Keds makes them appropriately slidey.:snap:

There is a huge quilt show going on in Long Beach this weekend (the International Quilt Festival). Susan and her friend are spending three days there as it supposedly that big.
