Yeah, there are definitely tickets nearby us. (or there were last night - I bet there still are.) Lemme know if you want one, I can snag it...

LSPoorEeyorick 05-09-2008 06:28 AM

Do you guys think Mark will want in? Do you know when he'll be back?

innerSpaceman 05-09-2008 06:44 AM

Speaking of Mark and Back ... that's where he has to sit, for the benefit of other patrons who'd like to see the screen.

:p

Thanks for getting the tickets for us, LSPE!

Not to be nitpicky, but when a group gets this big, it's best (and usually easier) to get seats in two rows, one behind the other, as opposed to one long string in a single row.

I think you should have secured two seats per row for several rows.

Just to be different.

LSPE explain this whole, extra ticket on the aisle thing to me please.
I may have to add one, or cancel one.. depending on what that meant.
Thanks.

You can pm me if you prefer.

Is NM saying here that he does want to go, or doesn't? LSPE thinks so, but it sounds to me like he doesn't want to go....and if so, that means extra ticket.....

LSPoorEeyorick 05-09-2008 10:16 AM

(So you're thinking you'll either be a party of 1 or a party of 3, Ponine?)

The Arclight ticket system wouldn't allow us to leave a single seat between our party and another party, or a single seat on the aisle. So we are currently a total of 16:

(key - X=us, _=unsold as of last night, O=sold prior to our buying)
0 0 X X X X

instead of 15, as this would have had to be (because we'd have left a single seat on our last aisle and they don't permit that.)

0 0 X X X X
_ _ X X X X
_ _ X _ _ _

So right now, since we had 16 tickets for the original 15 people (so as not to strand person #15 behind us) we have one spare. Matt was the first person to speak up for it. But I am sure we can buy more tickets if we need to (or, say, swap out one of the existing people if they need to cancel.)

His girlfriend sits next to me at work, yo. He told us off-board that they're coming.

:) With an "out" clause if things in the OC take longer than expected. And we'll of course cover the expense of the ticket if we have to jump ship. As of now, we're in.
