Nephytys is very much aware who the Admins and mods are around here- to claim otherwise is ludicrous and (with a quick search of past mod/Admin actions and PM's) fairly easy to prove. Again, it just struck me as an attention/stirring sort of post, but I could be wrong. Looking at CP's list, I think Neph's quotes are pretty funny and definitely quote worthy- which one was the offending item?

Most Mod and Admin decisions are discussed with all Mods and Admins, so choosing one to sent a PM to is all well and good, but a decision for actions or lack thereof will likely be made by consensus.

Yeah, and someone quoted me, too, fap fap fap. I remember the thread, I remember asking what that was, so I'm quoted out of context. It's still funny, even out of context.

After this thread was started and I wnet and looked at the quotes by Nephy and assumed the offending quote had been taken down already. Oh well, I see nothing there to get your knickers in a twist about. Far worse things have been said in any number of the political threads that are quote-worthy and not so nice by any number of people on LoT. Oh well, I'm sorry, I don't get what is malicious about anything quoted in CP's list.

Hot Dog! I'm off the hook. The "I am pretty liberal" quote I submitted is a direct Nephy quote. :)

If I can live with the Go Sharks comment (which was taken completely out of context), if Leo can live with the suggestion that he and MBC hook up on a regular basis, or he drives a windowless van...

No one actually thinks what I said is true, no one here thinks you're liberal.

You would also probably be surprised at how unbiased we can be when arriving at a decision, Neph. Most actions are carefully thought out and any personal likes or dislikes are not part of the equation. Except KB's posts, of course. We all tend to agree with regards to those.;)

If that was the case here, I would fully agree, however, it's not the case. Shaming may be unswanky but we have many a quote that is complete mockery - done with a wink of course. Thank GOD most of us have a great sense of humor and can laugh at our failings.

And, I think people need to remember that what you post on a message board is PUBLIC. Once it gets posted it is out of your control.

I'm always careful review each message before I post it to look for potential embarrassing quotes. It's my thing, small as it might be, to be careful about what I post so no one can take any part of my message out of context.

I would tend to agree-like I said, I will write it up and send it on in.

It was not something I said- but something said as an oblique insult to me- and then someone else posted it as a quote so it would continue to pop up.
