No, I won't. They look even more ridiculous without them, and would draw even more attention.

Best to just stay seated until lunch.

Just so you know, the photographic enhancement to the story is not helping stop my giggles. I know it is bad and I really do feel for you. I feel very naughty for giggling.

Oh, and I agree that ditching the socks would not help.

So at your work, it's OK to wear a pair of old blue jeans but the footwear you put with them is an issue?

I just don't get you Californians.

Fvcking hell. I accidentally wore crappy sandals (with socks, no less) out of the house to work this morning. I had thrown them on to get mail, then just left for work without a second thought. I feel like an ass right now.

Too bad we remembered to take your sneakers out of the car.

I love that you posted a pic! :D

I have to agree. I didn't start giggling until I saw the pic, now I can't stop! I'm sorry GD, either hide your feet or make a run at lunch and hope they actually have some decent shoes, that go with your socks:evil:

Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

Why am I the only one who has that dream?
