All vibes, all the time, from this corner, blueerica.

BE, I hope things work out for you and your husband.

My brainy thing no work today.

I'm in a very cozy coffee shop at the moment, feverishly working on Food and Wine copy. A few minutes ago, Iz Kamakawiwo'ole's well-known version of "Over the Rainbow" came on and I just spontaneously started tearing up. I've heard it many times and enjoyed it, but it never did such a number on me before. I know I'm a little stressed, but that was a total out of left field emotional whomp. Noting it in passing here, just because. Back to writing endless promotional copy before the Friday deadline.

Added a couple minutes later: Now it's Gorillaz. No particular response. Time to go home and take a nap!

Visible flippyshark mojo for spelling Iz Kamakawiwo'ole

Couldn't figure out what was different about this place for a few minutes. It just looked odd.

Then I realized I had cleared cookies while troubleshooting something and it had reset to the Default style. Now I'm back to Alex style and you all aren't quite so garish anymore.

Awww. That may be the nicest thing you've ever said. <insert imaginary smilies here>

That's ok, Iz's version is my fave as well. I don't really like that song unless it is his version.

Oh, and welcome back to reality, Alex!

Yeah, it's really the only version I like as well.

I know the feeling all too well, Flippy. *hugs*
