My friend texted me tonight saying she had a "need" for steak and martinis. Twist my arm a little more please! New York with Peppercorn sauce, fantastic mashed potatoes and a beet salad with arugula, sweet toasted hazelnuts and bleu cheese. I think I died and went to heaven tonight - and in heaven it's ok to be fat because you can't have a heart attack when you're dead!!!

How were the martinis?

Chili and Garlic Bread

Grilled cheese sandwich and sliced tomato.

Leftovers. Either the pasta or a ham sandwich. Not sure which yet.

I realized it's very difficult to just "throw something together" without Parmesan cheese in the house.

Sausage, Pepper and Rice Bake...but the best part is after....
