I certainly hope so...

I just don't get you Californians.

I can't wear jeans to work, except on Friday. But even then, no-open toe shoes allowed.

Ghoulish Delight 01-21-2009 11:58 AM

Jeans are fine (these are not old jeans, they're relatively new). But sandals definitely are not.

BarTopDancer 01-21-2009 12:40 PM

In my days at the technology company jeans were daily wear. In my most recent job jeans were a Friday thing, but I could get away with them more often because I was often doing things that destroyed my dress pants.

JWBear 01-21-2009 01:10 PM

It also depends on your position. The people I supervise can wear jeans. I can not.

I hope that purchase didn't put you over the maximal male allotment of shoes (4 pairs excluding any used almost exclusively for athletic activities).

Does that include sandals, slippers, or soccer cleats?

Nice! I'm thinkin' that's better than anything on offer at Payless. Good. Now I can stop giggling at odd moments, when I'd think of the sandals and socks pic.
