Hahaha, I just noticed that a little while ago, and simply assumed that NM was tired of living the lie.

By "on the shelf" I was alluding to Gagne's having spent the last two years signing cap brims and not doing much else.

Hahaha, *whoosh* missed that first time around. Yes, it definitely looks like the Dodgers dodged Darren Dreifort the Sequel by letting Gagne go. But even if he never finishes another season, his short stint at the top was spectacular enough to keep his name worth something for a while.
