I'm sitting here giggling at the sandals, REALLY glad we don't have a no-open-toe policy (in the summer, anyway) - and wondering if those sandals were actually comfortable or not? The 'toe' strap looks like it's so far back that it'd just not work right.

Or maybe that's my brain extrapolating men's sandals to my female feet...

The "toe" strap has been cut. For some reason they seemed to fit fine in the store. And they seemed fine at first. But after extended wear it was obvious that the things were half a size too small and the freaking thong was destroying my foot. So I cut the damn thing off. Adding to the utter ridiculousness of wearing those things out of the house.

OK, now I almost coughed up Mexican food.

Which is especially bizarre, cuz she just ate curry.

During the summer in my food service days I would through tennis shoes in my bag and change out of my sandals at work. One day I discovered I had brought two left shoes!

Couldn't believe how sore I got after a few hours!
