Start following them and then ask the guy with the hammer if you can get a ride.

What happened to make a new car necessary? And what did you get? :) :)

I don't suppose it's a short bus we can use for Ju Koon? :snap:

No, we need a handbasket for JuKoon.

Ok, you want hot, you go outside, on purpose, sizzle in a reflective plastic playground with no shade, chase a little one around with a sippy cup, realize the slides are still a burn hazard even though they're not made of metal anymore, then leave quickly with the car a/c full blast before you both die.

And thus the popularity of indoor/mall-based baby gyms... (which, unlike parks, cost something, alas)

We got a Mini Cooper S, black with white. Manual. FUN! (I've driven up Signal Hill 6 times today). The Volvo is dying and I need a reliable car - like one that starts every day. This is going to become Chris' commuter car next year when we were actually PLANNING on buying a car. I still have the Volvo. I'm going to put a new tire on the front but not do any of the other work that is looming then sell it. I love the Volvo, but the all-city driving I do wears on it.

Awesome- congratulations on your new car! I thought I was the only crazy person who liked a standard transmission!

Definitely good to have a reliable vehicle. I remember the days of "maybe it'll work today" cars and I can't say I have much nostalgia for them.

I love to drive. So when Lani and I bought a new car she insisted we get a manual as she said it would make me love driving even more.

She was wrong. I don't have any problem with a manual transmission, I just don't think it is an improvement.

So it turns out I love to drive, I am indifferent to manipulating my car.
