I finally upgraded my cable from "basic" to digital w/HBO. I'll be paying $5 more a month than I would be for my cable and a separate Netflix subscription.

Now that I'm caught up with the shows I got Netflix for (and the mass availability of shows on Hulu) I really don't have a need for it anymore.

Now to get it set up so my TIVO works with it. I know I have a thread about that somewhere from the last time I attempted it.

I am a conundrummer in a band called "Life"

And "Life" appears to have a fantastical, inter-species, sado-masochist bent.

In happy news, I'm down another 2 pounds.

Good news is the pain meds have kicked in - yay!

Today I rearranged my living room, including dragging out the carpet cleaner on an area that was previously inaccessible (actually, it's inaccessible again, but nice to get it while furniture's displaced), and rounded up some decor for the Christmas party. I love when I rearrange a room because it forces one to address miscellaneous clutter. There's still a lot of it, but I know how much I removed :) Plus a new furniture arrangement is so refreshing!

Took me hours upon hours, but I carved my pumpkin tonight and it looks *great*. Pics up on FB.

As of last night, I've been to Horror Nights 9 nights this season (10 if you include the Employee Preview). I'm going to Knott's Haunt tonight, then one last Horror Nights tomorrow night. Management doesn't mind me doing the Time Warp at admissions either, so this has been a VERY fun month. Hopefully I won't go into a deep depression on November 1 :)
