Aren't there emergency cold packs that you snap and they get instantly cold? A stockpile of those might be more cost effective.

Great minds think alike - my aunt suggested that yesterday. Looking into those. May be the best way to go - if I used one at a time I could lengthen it out for quite a bit.

So. you can fit a piano into the back of a Volvo Wagon - I say this as a public service so no one has to conduct such an experiment again as there is a corollary that it is easier to put a piano into the back of a Volvo Wagon than to remove it.

I watched one of the best college football games tonight.

And, in getting it out, we had 4 people. However, there were those stairs.......

But, getting it IN the Volvo with 2 people (one being me) was quite something and surprisingly doable.

Just think, next time you'll have to do it with a Mini.

See, with the Mini you just skip the though process altogether about even the possibility, and just hire someone else to do it - save time, less bruising.

However, it is amazing just how much you can get in a Mini if you really try.

Especially if you already bought the curtain rod and there's no other way to get it home. For the record a 78" curtain rod fits even it does have to be wedged in from the left rear corner all the way to front right corner of the car.

Eh, we were always amazed at the amount of furniture we were able to bring home from Ikea in a Ford Festiva and still have both of us in the car.
