I don't know what to say to Jean, she's a single mom with four kids now. How can you ease the pain when someone is going through something like that. Plus I don't know how to break the news to my wife, it's been so hard on her since her mother's murder, and this is the closest death since then. I tried to call her psyc dr. but she is on vacation till the 13th.

Thanks for a place to open up and talk a bit. You guys are great!

You can share with her some fond memories and I believe a card, phone call offer of support will always do wonders and are welcome. This is too sad and I'm sorry for the compounded problem you have with relation to relaying the news to your wife.

Does the shrink have a colleague you can call in emergencies?

Yes, I plan to do that today. He's is familiar with her because he is the one maintaining her meds.

That's one way to get your wife to leave the house more often.

She has agoraphobia since her mother died a year and a half ago and rarely leaves the bedroom, much less the house. . . .not to mention some drama with her sister in texas wanting to move in with us- but I have to put my foot down there. ALERT! Lame attempt at humor in the face of unimaginably difficult situation follows:

Might not the sister's moving in be a cure for the agoraphobia?

You were warned.

Great minds, great minds.

A colleague at work said he heard a comedian say that the name Dora the Explorer rhymes in a Kennedy household.
:D

You know, it occurs to me that Bob the Builder doesn't rhyme either.

No parade. Just a party outside the Ponda.

Sean Connery, who retired from acting in 2005, has finally, officially, given word that he will not be appearing in the fourth Indiana Jones film.

"I thought long and hard about it and if anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film. I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun. I, do however, have one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator! This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break a leg, everyone.' I'll see you on May 22, 2008, at the theater!"
