RStar: as far as what to say to Jean... just say you're there for her. And call her in a few weeks and say it again, when all the hubbub quiets down and everyone's done making their "obligatory" calls, and she's no longer busy with the "business" of death. That's when she'll really really need you.

Morrigoon has it completely right. As of right now, she's probably got a lot of people surrounding her. In my experiences, it's always a month later, a few months later, that things get really difficult and lonely. As reality sets in for her, she'll need her friends as much, perhaps even more.

So I heard that Xanadu has been adapted as a broadway musical. I'm ashamed to say, I saw that in the theater (it had Gene Kelly in it is my excuse), a disco dog that one was!
