I am slowly getting ready to go to a Graduation party. At least Nickolas was invited. I want him to see just how boring these types of things can be.

I just came in from outside. There was a blue jay preening itself on our back fence. He eyeballed me, but quickly dismissed me as a non-threat. Then Chicken made her way to the grass under where he was sitting. I think her presence confused him. He wasn't sure if he should fly off or just see what was going to happen. When I came back in they were still watching each other.

I'm sorry to disagree with you, but if you want to talk smokin' phantoms, Lon Chaney is where it's at..

:D

Actually, out of the frightening make-up, the Lonster was a handsome fella. You know, in my opinion, for being released in 1925 this is still the most scariest looking movie monster of all time. No, really!

I think he's scary! Actually it entertains me to remember that he did his own make-up.

Not only did I explain the difference between the uses of effect and affect to my boss, I followed it up with a more complete explanation of how I oversimplified it before, and the dictionary.com entries for both, which, by the way, I found fascinating, especially the explanation of the word roots from the 16th century and the Latin before that. Yeah, I'm definitely a dork.

You say that like it's a bad thing.... :) I'm more into old alphabet scripts than words, but not by much.

Color me dork with you. :)

So....does anyone else have the Jungle Cruise miniature? Or know how to turn the lights on?

Gn2Dlnd 06-09-2007 10:53 PM

I don't have the Jungle Cruise miniature.

I do know how to turn the lights on.

BarTopDancer 06-09-2007 11:04 PM

My lights are on. I am having trouble turning them off.

And would you be so kind as to tell me? Or is there a secret handshake?

blueerica 06-10-2007 10:07 AM

The lights are on, but nobody's home.
