Ya you do!

I'm not ashamed to like chains. I like Cheesecake Factory. I like PF Changs. But I also know that when I go to PF Changs I am not getting true Chinese food. I love Mimi's and Lazy Dog (which is turning into a chain now with 5 locations). Islands is awesome. And my Chipotle addiction is no secret.

I also love hole in the wall restaurants. I crave Kings Pizza in HB. Harbor House at 3am is something I am seriously missing. Manja Manja is delish and give me Gypsey Den any day.

I realize I am pulling an old post to the front... but I am teribly sorry you had such poor service.
The one our my end of the world would be horrified to know you had it so bad. I did have the mngr at mine tell me once that they are very independant, and not as "get the same thing everywhere you go" as some of the other chains go.
That was unfortunate. I'm glad they tried to fix it.

NOW I know why I havent had that poor a meal. This is also my staple. Sause on fish isnt really my thing. Of course FISH isnt really my thing.
Shrimp.... that I like.
Come down to SD and I'll take you to Anthony's or Point Loma Sea food. It'll make up for it.

I don't necessarily care about "authentic" Chinese food. Hell, I ate at an Indian restaurant the other night that had a steak dish on the menu and the food was good.

But I've never had anything resembling good food at P.F. Chang's.

I like the chicken and eggplant there. One good thing about them is that you can get brown rice on the side instead of white rice.

Huh. I've always liked PF Chang's. Haven't eaten there in ages though. It's no Mr. K's but it knocks the pants off Panda Express.

Red Lobster - meh. I don't hate it, I'd certainly eat there on a gift card as I am rather fond of fish n' chips (which IS doused in a tartar sauce), and I LURVE their cheesy biscuits, and their clam chowder doesn't suck. On my own dime I'd probably only eat there at someone else's suggestion. Last time I was there I think it was a Mensa lunch or something of that nature (the same people who somehow get me out to the Spaghetti Factory, Mimi's, and a few good hole-in-the-wall places).

There's a great Thai chain called Thai Bite near my office that has awesome food, literally awesome. Okay, not "Toi" awesome, but pretty darn awesome.

And I don't care if it's authentic or not, I love me some Macaroni Grill.

Consider me the chain-loving repository of unwanted gift cards ;)

Can anyone who has been to the Greek clue me in on how far back the upper section really is? I'm buying tickets to a show and I am trying to figure out if the upper section would be equivelent to the upper section at The Forum (yes, the Forum), the Pond or somewhere smaller and closer.

thank you
