Alas, we'll be missing this year. We'll be on a ship in the Atlantic that day (and a few days to follow, followed by a trip to Hogwarts.) But we'll be there next year!

I hope to make it back from Vegas in time. That's the plan, anyway.

A trip to Hogwart's? Does that mean you'll be in my neighborhood? Cool!

Alas, only in attendance if it's skypable.

Update: After some off-board discussion, here's the plan:

3:00 PM - Festivities will kick off. We'll start running appropriately themed movies in the Den, while the living room & deck will be for hanging out and (gasp) conversation.

5:00 PM - The barbecue will be fired up. Burgers and corn on the cob will meet the flames.

9:00 PM - Midnight (at least based on last year) - Fireworks all over the freakin' LA basin.

We'll supply the the burgers, corn and drinks. Sides, salads, desserts etc are up to you.

My brother is once again in town for this holiday along with his lovely family. This might be developing into a tradition.

We'll always be at Casa Chihuahua in spirit, though. :cheers:

I should make it .... I'll be heading home from Las Vegas, so plans are fluxable, but I hope to be there for bbq.

Unless some heretofore unknown vacation plans throw themselves at me, I'll be there after my farmer's market - Larchmont, in case anyone wants to come shopping.
