Isn't this getting a little Orwellian? I mean, it is one thing in airports, but if this was in every retail establishment it would be a wee step backwards. Hooray for getting terrorized by our own government!

One more great reason for me to continue avoiding Wal-Mart. But really, where the hell is this culture going?!

You might want to add UPS to your list. They are now requiring a photo ID to ship a package.

Must keep the masses afraid! Frightened people are more easily led and controlled.

Eh, I can't get worked up about that. All they are doing is requiring their franchised/licensed stores to follow the same ID procedures they require at their retail stores.

UPS is a private corporation, not the government. If you don't like it use another method of shipping.

Is this a video from Napolitano that will be showing on video screens that Wal-Mart already has or are these being installed just for this purpose?
