Now that we got rid of cable in place of Netfix & Hulu+ I've become obsessed with the UK series Misfits.

I never really clicked with the whole super hero genre but I love this telling of acquiring "powers" that sometimes play out as more lame than super - lactokinesis anyone? Anyway I love the raunchy humor and the irreverent tales that could only be told on the other side of the pond.

Anyone else a fan? waiting for the next show to air on hulu? or contemplating what lame super power you might have? I'm thinking mine involves a cocktail shaker.

I'm in the second series now. I was unsure after the first couple episodes but stuck with it and it really grew on me (at first I wasn't sure if it was going to do anything interesting or just be irreverent).

I've been hearing some cries that the third series has seen a dropoff but I've been avoiding those conversations so as not to be spoiled.

We are 2 episodes into the 3rd series. I'm still wowed by it. I'm as surprised as anyone that I could become obsessed with a show that is described like this one. NOT my general cup of tea. But, obsessed I am and thoroughly enjoying it.

Can't remember the name of it, but here is a movie coming out soon about a group of teenagers who get superpowers and are dicks about it. It didn't look all that good, but now that I've been watching Misfits I have a glimmer of hope.

Bad Kids go to Hell?

Bad sign, I saw the trailer for the movie I mentioned in the theater yesterday and several times on TV and I still can't remember the title.

So I just looked it up. Chronicle

Misfits premiers this week in the USofA. Thursday 10/9c on LOGO

I would love that power!
