Photography project for 2013? Some of you may be aware of my photography doodle The Daily Head Back. It started out as a joke but I also quite like it. I like taking photos of people so close, without them knowing. I like showing the difference in something that mundane, frequent and which otherwise feels identical. And I find it kind of mesmerizing to occasionally just scroll down the page and see all the different heads. Anyway, I don't expect this to have legs but I figure if there is any group where it might, this is the one and so for 2013 I want to suggest and encourage everybody to find do something similar. Something that is in your life every day (or a lot of days) that is simultaneously the same and yet always different. And photograph it daily (or often). No penalties or failure in not doing it every day. I don't with mine. Some days I forget, some days I'm never actually sitting behind someone. No real rules. |

Hey, I like this idea! |

I like this too. The challenge for us would be our limited exposure to the outside world, but I bet I could think of something. |

This sounds like a lot of fun - now to think of a suitable subject. |

My Project is inspired by "The Time Machine". There is a womens fashion store in my local mall, and I am going to photograph the window display every time I go past. Over the course of the next 10 years or so, it should be quite revealing. The store has been in business for a long time, so I'm pretty sure it will be around that long. If not, I will continue photographine whatever store opens in it's place. |

Definitely wracking my brain for something. But as CP mentioned, working from home most of the time my landscape is relatively static. But I'll keep my eyes open for inspiration. |

Sadly, I can't think of anything. I drive to work, sometimes go to work gym, and drive home. That's pretty much my life. |

I am sticking with what works. Power lines and other related awesomeness that I can capture with my phone cam. Often I easily talk myself out of taking pics of lines that catch my eye but now I have a reason to pull over and get the shot. Thanks, Alex. (This is where the smiley goes.) |
