Deep Throat

Eh, don't really care. Especially since the article I read flat out said that one of the reasons he changed his mind and decided to identify himself is that his family wants to cash in on it. That's pretty pathetic.

I just like the possibility that the great mystery sort of fizzles out at the end. Of course, W&B still won't confirm it, others swear it couldn't possibly be him, ah! We can't let the mystery die! We won't let go!

I heard that Woodward did confirm it today.
I don't know about the cashing in thing, although anything is possible. The guy is 91 years old. It seems that they would have come out sooner with this if they wanted to milk it. |
Earlier today, W & B were neither confirming nor denying. Looks like they've since confirmed. As for his family...

Yeah, I read that too, GD, and had the same "ugh" reaction. But I read that as more his daughter than him. I still think it's exciting to finally know.

Growing up in the 60's I recall Watergate very well, many of my favorite shows got prempted with its' coverage. This was in the days before cable, so imagin if you will, that you turn on the TV to find that every station has been turned to CSPAN. I believe he owes me some Gilligan's Island reruns

I keep thinking Linda Lovelace died.
But, I'm happy one of life's mysteries was finially revealed. Now, where did that Jimmy Hoffa get to? |
I thought maybe this was a poll...or another Prudence confessional thread.
It's cool to finally know. I don't like not knowing things -- especially juicy gossip type things. |
I cana't see the words "Prudence confessional" without thinking of peeing in the shower. :)
