Alsace, anyone?
 

So, I'm heading to Germany later this month, with a very short side trip to Alsace on the way back to Frankfurt airport.

Anyone have any experience traveling in Alsace and want to share some tips for places to check out? We've got a reservation to stay overnight in Colmar, with plans to drive along the Route des Vins from there up to Strasbourg.

No experience with Alsace, but while in Frankfurt, hit the Strubelpeter Museum. I love that place!

It's been years since I've been to Stassbourg, but I recall liking it, and you're right across the Rhein from some good Riesling.

So you might want to do some wine tasting in the area

Oh those make me so jealous! I want to move there immediately, if not sooner. Every time I get myself convinced that it's really okay to live in this country, I see something like that. All the detail on the buildings! I'm so envious.
