GC's Big Move to L.A.
 

To further pursue a career of my own, I have decided to leave Boston behind and move to Los Angeles.

Ralphie and I will be apart but he is very supportive of my decision.

October 20th is the day.

I have no firmed up plans yet, but I will be staying with friends while I look for a job and a car.

There's a lovely 2 bedroom apartment opening up in Irvine in a week or so. Okay, maybe "lovely's" a stretch.

As for whether to abide behind the Orange Curtain or not ... may I suggest you forego living five minutes from Disneyland, and take advantage of the greater economic opportunities offered in Los Angeles proper.



(Ok, yeah, I'm sick of all my Disneyland buddies living in the O.C.)


Just FYI, my West L.A. residence is a mere half an hour from the Park.




And, I guess now's a good time to confess that I've been toying with idea of flying out east and driving cross-country with you back to L.A. I've always wanted to drive cross-country, and I think we'd have a ball.

(now if only i had any vacation time coming, or the price of a one-way airline ticket ... that, btw, would also be my ticket to cavity-search terrorism suspicion.)

It's a conspiracy I tell ya, a conspiracy. First Snowflake and now GC. You all won't be happy until I'm the last one standing out here on the bitter east coast.

The tribe has spoken. We're all leaving this stupid island, you have fun all by yourself. :p
