Craft swank or swanky craft

I picked up this magazine at Borders the other day and it's so much fun. This issue focuses on Japan Style "Super Cute!" I love the attitude. In the list of supplies to make a planter is cement mixer with the note: optional, but handy and fun.

It's not helping my crafting ADD. Oh look! I should try that! Never mind what I haven't finished. Where can I find a cement mixer?

I'm ready to go get in my car and go to Borders. Of course, I just buy fabric and supplies but i never do anything with them.

Heather just bought tickets (moments ago) for their "Maker's Faire" in San Mateo in May. Very cool.

Hmmm, sew Japanese-y finger puppets or

knit a willy warmer?

Remember: "measure, measure, measure!"

There are probably ten people who post here who would gladly take fabric off your hands for you.

I think what she meant to say was, Ten people who post here that might fight over your fabric.

And hey NA.... we need to make those Reb bee valances. That fabric was too cool to not get that done.
