The Season Finale Thread!
We have so many cool Season Finale Threads and questions that I was inspired to begin a new Thread so that we can share about all of the shows that we enjoy watching!
I love television & I love finales. :) :snap: Any thoughts on Season finales that you're looking forward to? Or have already watched? Were they enjoyable? Disappointing? Please share! Tonight I'll be all wrapped up in the final American Idol. I also posted in the Sooo Thread that I fell asleep during the Law & Order: SVU finale last night and am dying to know what happened (Thank you, Prudence, for sharing & letting me know!) I thought the Law & Order: Criminal Intent finale was kind of depressing. Detective Logan seems so broken & desperate for human contact. :( Next season, Criminal Intent will be moving to the USA Channel. The final Sopranos episode is approaching and I can't wait to see how the series will end. I have missed the last two episodes but I Tivo the show so I need to catch up soon! I still can't believe Christopher was sorta-pseudo whacked. :( I cannot be the only television junkie on this Board, so c'mon y'all and post your thoughts! :) |
Hmm... I'm a TV junkie that stopped watching TV regularly. It's a strange, strange thing. The only show I was really into this year (and all because I caught up online over the last week and a half) was Heroes.
Intermittently, I like to watch a lot of random shows, so I tend to not get wrapped into finales. It's not like "The Girls Next Door" or "Mythbusters" really gets the whole "finale" treatment, anyway. I need to go figure out when Heroes: Origins starts. |
Dancing with the Stars Season Finale.... I was hoping Joey Fatone was going to win. Was kind of bummed about that... the finale was cute.. was nice to see all of them back on the dancefloor... congrats little ice skater twink boy...

Wow, I must be tired... I totally read that as Dancing with the Star Wars Season Finale.
I'm going to crash pretty hard tonight, after my last final. |
I'll tell you the show that has sucked us in, big time, is The Riches with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. Its season finale is approaching and we are bummed. It's really a great show. Luckily, Weeds starts up in another couple of months. That has to be about the best written show I've ever seen on TV.

The Season Finale Thread!
Well as much as i wanna watch the finale of American Idol tonite's season finale of LOST will be on as well. Not sure about this season what i really thought about it. To be honest i loved season 1. Season 2 i kinda only watched here and there due to interest in American Idol. Then Season 3 i've watched all the way thru. I do like the whole character flashbacks etc storyline of each episode. It gave us viewers more what a certain person was like history etc. But some of the episodes i thought weren't the best and i'm like how can this show keep going til 2010? I mean wrap it up so to speak but there are so many unanswered questions.

Lost and 24 is about it for me.

OMG OMG OMG - Weeds is coming back! Yay! I was so worried that that would be the end of it.

ER: another character mutilated. Another nasty family squabble over a child.

For someone who used to have the TV on whenever I was home, I am so pleased I seem to be a successful recovering television addict ... free of the habit for nearly five years!
There was a period when my tv was broke, and I simply quit. I stopped picking up new shows, and just watched my current ones till they either went off the air or jumped the shark. I still catch up on good shows by renting the DVDs. From this season, I'm likely to rent Heroes. I'm really glad that Weeds got picked up. I'll probably check out the 3rd season of Lost, even though it may shark jump right there. But I'm down to one show that is still on the air that I've watched from the "old days." And it's going off the air in two weeks. The Sopranos dates from the time when I watched TV regularly, and its highly anticipated series finale means not only an end to one of the best shows of all time, but the end of a lifetime of regular series viewing by me. Quite a milestone. I'll miss The Sopranos, but I revel in my new life of not being glued to the set. :iSm: Who am I kidding? I'm watching some Netflix disc or another most nights. |
