I think she ages Harry really well for each book cover she's designed.

Green again. Hmm. It's pretty cool looking. The way the stories and the tone of the covers were going, I figured the cover would be black.

The British adult cover has a potions textbook on it. Advanced Potions. I wonder if this means that there will be a lot of Snape in Book 6.

A girl who's a hopeless romantic for grumpy, petty, angry, damanged Potions Masters really hopes so.

So excited!

Much Snape in Book 6 means the potential for much Alan Rickman on the big screen in extra-dour form.

(sigh)

How many years away is that?

Too many. By the time 6 comes around, I fear Rickman will be nearing 70 instead of 60, and his jowls by then will be uncanny! Why did he have to get old man British jowls? Yes, he's still attractive. And more so in the third film than in the second, where I thought he might actually be sick! Poor, puffy Rickman. Still, sometimes I'm tickled by the fact that they cast amazing actors, all of whom are too old for their roles. I think only Thewlis is actually close to the age Remus is supposed to be. I think Snape, Sirius, and Remus are all supposed to be 38 when Harry gets to Hogwarts, or in the vicinity of 40.

Man, just think of an Alan Rickman around the time of Die Hard, Robin Hood, or even Sense and Sensibility being cast as Snape.

At least we'll always have the voice, even if the jowls are dragging on the floor come Book 6 time.

So Harry has probably decided to be an Auror, which means he has to go into Advanced Potions....Good. I'd miss the snarky Snapeisms.:D

Is that a penseive they're looking into?

I'll take the "Closetland" Rickman. Please?

One of my favorite movies of all time. Even Madeline Stowe was great in that.

Ah, 1991 was such a good year for Rickman. Hated Prince of Thieves, but loved his Sherrif. Truly Madly Deeply. Close My Eyes.

Yes, a very good year. Heeeee.

I saw the cover today and I about soiled myself. I think that the artist does a great job at aging Harry as well.

Eliza... I know you're a Snape man. I know you're soiling yourself too! ;)

Yes, pretty much. I hope Neville, without Snape hovering over him, did well on his O.W.L.S. as well. That would be great fun. Neville in Snape's classes 4-eva.

My friend Mike and I were discussing Snape’s worst memory. The man was a Death Eater. The man turned traitor and seemingly has submitted his will to Dumbledore and the Order in an attempt to redeem himself, make up for past mistakes (or he's *really* spying on the Order, and still big into the bad mojo and the Dark Lord worship...FIE! ) He’s probably been involved in some truly horrible experiences. Seen truly horrible things.

And having his graying underwear exposed as a 15 year old is his WORST memory? Are you serious?

Forget it. If that's true, obviously Voldemort is not that bad. Obviously Death Eaters sit around sipping tea, eating crumpets, and saving the lives of puppies. Obviously the Order has it all wrong. Voldemort’s been given a bum wrap.

C’mon Snape, I love you, but you’re a friggin’ pvssy.

Of course he did rip Harry out of the pensieve before we had a chance to see what else the Mauraders were planning on doing to Snape.
