Craigslist - making room for baby

Stuff and more stuff.

I meant to post this here earlier but forgot...and the coat rack already has a taker! If anyone is interested, PM us.

Groovy end tables.

(I just realized that those are probably older than you guys are, and I can remember when that stuff was first fashionable. I feel ancient.)

OMG, my parents had that second end table in the den when I was growing up. I loved that table! My mom kept candles and incense in it, I can still remember the way it smelled in there.

Half surprised you aren't keeping the futon in the baby's room, but I guess there's only so much space in there.

I acquired them from my parents when I moved out. They are indeed older than me.

?? What use does the baby have for a futon?

Morrigoon 10-22-2009 01:13 AM

Well, I know that my brother and his wife have a spare bed in the baby's room, I guess it's helpful when baby's fussy for a parent to have a spot to crash.

Welcome to my world. ]I grew up in the pages of Atomic Ranch so I remember before those tables were first fashionable.

Gah! I need a coat rack!

I can't check it out until I get home, it appears... Booo... :(

I also just learned that hazabebe is not available to me anymore, either.

SUX!!

Ghoulish Delight 10-22-2009 08:04 AM

D'oh, and someone already claimed the coat rack.

We're going to get a gliding rocker, and I wouldn't be surprised if some sleeping was done there. :)

Sorry about the coat rack, Erica. I would never have guessed it'd be the first thing grabbed.

I'm getting some emails on the desk.

Wow, did everyone's parents have one? Mine definitely did, too.

innerSpaceman 10-22-2009 10:41 AM

Hahaha, I recently threw away my oldster octagonal end table. I LOVED the storage room inside it, but new pieces of, let's just nicely say "less tackyness," left no room for the old girl. I'll miss her and her era.

Cadaverous Pallor 10-22-2009 12:20 PM

Even though my parents had (still have) different 1970's end tables, I fell in lovewith these and hate to see them go.

Just got an email, looks like they're going.

You must hate that

End tables and futon have been sold.

Cadaverous Pallor 10-23-2009 08:32 AM

I love the magic of craigslist. People take away bulky things I wouldn't want to carry and they give me cash for it.

No bites on the TV yet. Not surprising. Kind of a worthless thing. The antenna doesn't even work anymore due to the digitalization stuff. If you've got cable you're all set for 13 inches of amazing viewing experiences!

Yeah, this one will probably get donated. Anyone here want a FREE TV? ;)

Morrigoon 10-23-2009 08:42 AM

Can the libraries use it for dvd viewing?

There are no other inputs, just the coax.

You could always add a digital tuner box to make it useful again.

It also makes me wonder how many tons of e-waste was created by the move to digital TV.
