Want to see a couple of REALLY HOT Aussie guys?

Just look at Stoat & I.

We went out today to celebrate my Dad's 84th Birthday, as the temperature in Sydney reached 108.5°F (42.5°C)

This is the hottest day on record for November in the last 17 years. They predict lots of fires and more heatwaves for the next couple of months. Great.

I'm REALLY glad we recently had the gutters cleared of leaves, and I'd like to organise a sprinkler system on the roof at the Green Point beachhouse. Too many trees for comfort (and it's a wooden house).

Ooo! A friend of mine is at {right now I think} the Pearl Jam concert and she said it is 113 degrees! I think it is an outdoor show.

That was great preventive action, clearing the gutters.

I hope that you guys can get some relief and stay safe!

I don't see you...

Gn2Dlnd 11-22-2009 01:39 AM

Ecch. Sounds like here, just a couple months ago.

Cadaverous Pallor 11-22-2009 11:55 AM

Let's see, November for you is May for us. 108 in May, ouch!

But it's only 316.65 degrees Kelvin. Doesn't sound so bad when you put it that way.

Who is Kelvin? He sounds hot.

Alex 11-22-2009 03:41 PM

Well, I guess taste is inherently subjective. So whatever floats your boat.

Kelvin:

Also, he's been dead for, like, 100 years... So... Ew.

Cool it, man. Don't be a Kelvin-Hater.

you guys do have Kelvinator fridges over there, right? If not, you won't get that joke at all...

Alex 11-22-2009 06:16 PM

I've never heard of them but apparently, yes we do have them.

Wouldn't she be dead, too?

He does look hot, maybe he should take off his coat.

What's that Kelvin's beard? Huh?! Slow down boy! Oh no, Timmy has fallen into the well!

Ghoulish Delight 11-23-2009 02:11 PM

Knowing how hot it is there makes me feel slightly better that I can't just hop on a plane right now to A) visit the lashpair and B) see Animal Collective on tour. Slightly.

lashbear 11-23-2009 05:56 PM

Oh yeah ! they're playing the 11th December at the Enmore Theatre (near where I used to live). We're booked to see them. :p

Ghoulish Delight 11-23-2009 05:59 PM

Awesome! The show we saw was outstanding, a definite competitor for best musical performance I've ever attended. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Kevy Baby 11-23-2009 11:28 PM

A) There is no "l" in my name
B) I shaved off my beard

lashbear 11-23-2009 11:40 PM
