YESSSSS! FINALLY! Um, I mean: if you love them, stock up now
|
That story if from July. They apparently secured credit and are still in business (and doing OK).
Sorry 3894. |

I wear Crocs - they're comfy. But, then again, my main concern when buying any attire is comfort over someone else's idea of "style". It's also why I don't wear my corset that often. ;)
|
I have kitchen-grade Crocs that I purchased from one of my Florida branches. They have the special non-slip bottoms. I got J the Mario Batali crocs.
Yeah, we don't really wear them that much, except when taking out the trash. ;) |
I wear mine to do yard work. Completely hose-down-able; it doesn't matter if I hit a doggy land mine mowing the lawn. They are very comfortable on my feet, which are pretty trashed from years of ballet. I'm a former apparel buyer/merch manager, and fashion used to matter to me. I'm ex-buyered now. I don't care what Crocs look like because they are so functional.
|
I don't own a pair of Crocs but when I tried a pair on at Nordstroms (yes, Nordstroms) I found them to be very comfy.
|
People! Focus!
When you say nice things about Crocs you encourage people to wear them. This is a war crime and a violation of many human rights treaties. |

But their flip flop style are not hideous!

I'll one-up ya Deebs. I own Croc knock-offs that are light pink with big bright orange flowers all over them.
I'm like the ugly shoe martyr. I have paid for all the foot fashion sins so everyone may go forth in comfort, knowing that they'll never have worn the ugliest thing known to mankind. ;) |
I'm STILL wering my Disney crocs from 2007 !! I love them.
|
I have a pair that I've had for ever. I use them for gardening. They really are not comfortable enough for me to wear for more than a couple of hours. They have no support at all. I would never consider wearing them out in public any more that I would consider wearing my bedroom slippers or printed Joey Butafuco pants. Crocs are just another fashion fad that will go away when the next fad comes along.
Comfort is important but so is my personal and professional success and how I present myself make a difference. I find I can have both comfort and look good at the same time. |
I have worn my bedroom slippers to the store.
In my defense, I had the flu, had had a fever of nearly 103 for three days, and lived alone. Actually, the fact that I hadn't bathed in those three days was likely the bigger problem. |
NA, having seen your arches, I have no doubt that Crocs don't offer nearly enough support for your feet. :)

Corset, Butafuco pants, Crocs, and the Kevster ... LoT, je t'aime.
|
I own drab Crocs which I wear at home for washing dishes and doing laundry. I have flat feet so they're the perfect amount of support and comfort for a slip-on housework shoe.
I don't wear Crocs out because I don't particularly like the way they look, but I won't wear fashionable shoes that aren't comfortable, so my feet are usually pretty happy with me. |

Comfy shoes needn't be ugly
|
They're just too ugly for me to purchase. They seem so lightweight and probably comfortable and come in cute colors....but I think they look awful.
I'd totally consider their flip flops, though I tend to stick to $5.00 ones from drug stores. A glance at their site shows some other good designs using the lightweight tech that actually might be wearable. Hmm, the more I look, the more I think I might stop at the Croc store nearby next time I'm looking for shoes. |
The YOU brand has some cute shoes.
