Yep, I was watching for people I knew in the pictures. So far none spotted

Didn't see anyone I know personally, but at least 1 or 2 of them I think I've seen in the park myself.

I dunno, maybe cause I'm one of "them", but the pictures on that site seem pretty mild. In fact, the majority of them I stared at wondering what the big deal was.

This, however, was revolting


Is there a baby in there or is that huge stroller just for the plushies?

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before half of us show up there. Maybe we should beat them to it and submit our own fine selves at the heights of our geekery.

I've seen worse myself. But I'm not in the habit of pointing my camera at them. I think I'd rather just enjoy my stay and leave the other guests alone.

But If i'm behind a lady that wants to stand at the counter of The World of Disney and bend over with no panties on, I just might whip out my camera and take a picture to post on the web. After all, isn't that what she was thinking when she decided to dress like that to go to Disneyland?

OMG, my exMIL bought me those exact same pants for Christmas one year , might have been around the mid 80's. It must have been an LA thing because we'd never seen pants like that up here. She said she saw them in a store window and thought of me, Gee thanks!

Evil pointing and laughing aside - most of these are no big deal. I guess they want quantity over "quality". I mean, I get annoyed that people wear velour pjs as if they were outdoor clothing, but it doesn't make for an interesting website.

The awesome ones should show up around Bat's Day. And by awesome I mean awesome - people pull off amazing outfits for Bat's Day.

Besides, if you can't dress wierd at the parks, where can you?

F&E is more like Trader Joe's, except without personality

It's hard to define exactly where F'nEasy fits. It doesn't really have the quality and premium products that makes Trader Joe's stand out. Honestly the type and quality of products they have is pretty much on par with any of the big supermarket chains, imo, but with far less selection and variety. It's like an overgrown convenience store in many ways, but with supermarket quality. The one distinguishing thing is their fairly good selection of ready-to-go meals (mostly some variation of pasta and cheese or meat and rice, or sandwich).

The company that owns them, Tesco, is in many ways the Wal*Mart of Europe. Not all of their stores are exactly like Wal*Mart since they operate a range of store types from convenience stores, to supermarkets, to Wal*Mart style megastores. But as I understand it, it's seen in many ways in the same "monolith of consumerism" light that Wal*Mart is.

Oh so happy not to be on there anywhere.....

They're totally not treated the same way at F&E like they are at Wal-Mart though. And, their products are WAY better quality. I actually place them between standard markets and TJ's.

Ken and I actually buy most of our groceries at F&E, especially produce and meats. We also like TJ's, but there isn't one close by to justify the extra mileage.

It should also be noted that F'nEasy is non-union. That doesn't matter to me either way, but to some it does.

Bill loves F&E. I still think it sounds like a feminine hygene product.

Wow. MC is getting alot of heat on the Blog part of that site.

I wish I were, but nope, not kidding. They seriously report back too. I know things that I'm not supposed to know. And the people who do the reporting don't know that I know who they are. It's kinda fun having that knowledge, really. ;)

I say, if your pic shows up on PotP, embrace your nerd-ery! Say, 'Yep, that's me' and be done with it. The more you rail against it, the more attention the site gets and the cooler you appear to be.

I actually miss my time on MC, but I didn't get to stay. I felt removed and forced out, though I guess I could have tried to stand my ground. Not much of a fighter in that regard. It all seems a really long time ago. I'm just glad that when the dust settled, I was "allowed" to stay here.

Back on topic, I'm surprised there hasn't been a slew of pics of the oft-maligned Croc-wearing folks.

You know, I have some pretty defaming pictures from MC meets.

I feel like taking this new website as a challenge. I totally feel like breaking out the strangest crap in my closet and wearing it on purpose, hoping for a submission. I have Crocs, and I know how to use 'em! ;)

Better yet, I think we should volunteer Kevy and his beauty queen costume to be the end all to the site. They'd never be able to top that! ;)
